Syberia was formed in the spring of 2009, hailing from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and Marcus Hook Pennsylvania. The band is a heavy collaboration of metal from the influences of Crowbar and Type O Negative. Fronted by ex-Spellbound / Shadowcide musician Mike Campanile, who pulls double duty as the band's lead guitarist and vocalist. The band also features another ex-Shadowcide member in Johnny P., as Syberia's drummer. Like Mike, Johnny is making his vocal debut as well, handling the background growls and blood curdling screams. Heralding in from Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, and new to the mix, is Derrick Quillen, who pulls the duty of the four string as their bassist. He has jammed for years in numerous bands and is the perfect fit for Syberia's look and sound. The band is has currently finished working on their Demo CD and is booking shows in full support of it.
